Birthday!

My Birthday is today! One reason to have a decent Monday. I enjoy the attention of a birthday, yet I'm really not sure if it's a good thing to be getting older. Either way it's imminent so I might as well make the best of it! haha. Most people would want a party or have friends over or go out, but at this point I don't particularly want to have any type of party. Frankly, I'm disappointed at how much homework I have. :/

I thought it was quite humorous going through my day and seeing who remembered, who got told by others, and who never said anything, even though I've been friends with them since the beginning of time it seems like haha! Oh well it doesn't matter. :) Just some cynical entertainment for me :)


I got a T-Shirt that references Lord Of The Rings! Which was really neat.  Listening to a lot of music and chilling while frantically trying to get my blog post out! Hope y'all can't tell ;)

Do any of y'all have those days where people treat you as if you're a gift to their species, yet other times you feel as though you're going to be alone forever? Well if you're not, let me tell you it's odd going from one extreme to the other haha. (: I have region auditions for the All State Choir on Saturday, so please wish me to break my leg! ...What an odd phrase....

Spent all day Saturday at another Region Camp, which will hopefully all pay off! haha. My birthday is a week from today! I could be cynical and say it's a year closer to death, but I'll be positive and say I'm another year wiser. ROFL (Just kidding IRL I'm still sitting right here writing a post for y'all.)

I hope y'all are still sharing my blog with your friends and getting me more views! Which by the way, we've hit 200 page views! I'm so excited!!! Sorry the post is so short, but I'm kind of exhausted from everything haha! Have a wonderful week my lovelies... :)

Awkward.

That awkward moment when my English teacher asks how many of us blog, and I'm the only one who raises my hand... Yeah that happened to me last week! I'm proud of my bloggin' skills though ;) I had to inform everyone about blogs and Tumblrs, but then again, what else is new. haha! My friends told me, you have a blog?? Tell me the web address! I then replied, "I'm sorry I can't give you that information, my blog is personal, only strangers can read it." What's funny is this made sense to them... haha!

For those of you who read last weeks entry, I did not make the fall show, but that just means I have more time for Choral stuff, yay!

My mom had made brownies and I brought them for a party and everyone loved them. Someone asked me, "Are these home made?" I responded with, "Yeah! ...From a box..." Needless to say people find me funny. Thank the Lord, or I might have no friends. haha! :) One of my friends actually told me that once. She said, "Laurel, if you weren't pretty and funny, no one would talk to you." This was after I had said something slightly lame and extremely nerdy. :D I like being who I am! I don't really care if someone thinks I'm lame, because frankly, I know I'm a nerdy geek. ROFL <--- I used rofl because I always read it "rawfull" and I Love love hearing it in my head and chuckling silently.

September!

Happy September to y'all! Hope school, work, etc. is going swimmingly. After one week I am already exhausted, which I wasn't expecting in the least. Thank Goodness for a long Labor Day weekend! Auditions for the school production are this week, wishes for a broken leg are appreciated! haha. I don't know about y'all, but I absolutely LOVE the season that is Autumn, and it will be here in a couple weeks, as will my Birthday! The leaves will fall, as will the temperature, and all will be lovely. :)

To any of you in music, you know how much it takes to learn multiple pieces, to those of you not in music, I promise it's not all rainbows and ponies to properly learn a piece to compete or perform with, but at the moment I'm learning, I kid you not, 18 pieces of music. They're all beautiful and I love them with a passion, but this is the most music I've ever learned at one time. I'm astounded! haha I didn't know I had it in me. This is the result of 10 competition pieces, 3 normal choir pieces, and 5 show choir pieces. Intense right? I feel that this was the main reason I learned to count when I was younger, to master odd time signatures. hahaha(:
