Psh, School!

Today for many schools, including mine, is the first day of the semester! Summer has come to a close, and I don't know if I'm happy about it or not... I'm excited for the productions, show choir events, meeting new people, and even learning new things, but as for the waking up early and the drama that accompanies High School....not so much. :P
I am honestly, really ready for the first day though. Outfit picked out? Check. Tye-Dye back pack with basic supplies? Check. I got this attitude like I can do anything, except I picked the wrong spot for my locker, just my luck haha. Oh well I'll make it work! ;D

Does anyone else just love the way the first week feels? Everyone gets to see the friends they haven't really seen since May; no one knows exactly where to go or what to do; new teachers and new people. It always has this really cool nostalgic feel to me. Maybe I'm just weird. Wouldn't be the first thing that classified me as weird haha!
I have a really good feeling about this year for some reason. Hopefully I'm not the only one. I just think I feel a lot more established in who I am than I was last year. I'll make sure to keep the blog running. I'm trying to master the scheduler, so just in case I'm not here to post every Monday, there will be a post awaiting y'all. I really try to keep y'all content! :) Well, without further ado, I hope y'all have a wonderful week especially if it's your first back as it is mine! :D

Distasteful...or...Funny?

I know a craze for teenagers and young adults that's been around forever are the "That's What She Said" jokes. Frankly, I find them funny, yet many find them distasteful, so this is a compilation of the ones I've heard and remember, accompanied by situations as needed, for you to decide: distasteful or funny.
 Enjoy! :)

*Cooking hot dogs and putting them in a container to keep warm*
"Your wiener's hanging out."
"...That's What She Said."
*I don't know exactly what they were speaking of, but it still happened...*
"It was the biggest thing I've ever seen!"
"That's what she saiiiiiid."
*Someone convincing someone else to try a new food*
"Just put it in your mouth!"
"That is what she said."
 *After an exam*
"That was so hard!"
"Yeah, but that's what she said."
*Lead wouldn't fit in mechanical pencil*
"The hole's too small, it just won't fit!"
"THAT'S what she said."
*Putting up the Christmas tree*
"It's so long it can touch the ceiling."
"That would be what she said!"

Well that's 6 and if you want more you click here!>> That's What. -She
Hope this wasn't too offensive, and I should let you all know, besides this humor, I am still a polite Southern Belle in public. :) Have a lovely week Y'all!!

Multiple Personalities

This post was very loosely inspired by The Breakfast Club :)
I've found there's many layers to people in general, but some people act different with every group of people they're with, and it's crazy! I try to stay consistent, yet in all situations, you will realize who thinks certain jokes and stories and even personality traits are pleasing, and who definitely don't, which allows slight leniency in "who you are".
In another respect, there's those people, like me, who are caught between "genres" or "cliques". I personally am not part of any "clique", but I am undecided between whether I would rather be more of a cowgirl type, or a hipster type. I call myself, jokingly, a "Texas Hipster" because honestly, if I hadn't been raised in such a Country-Western small town atmosphere, and been raised in New York or Portland, my love of all vintage and indie things would have turned me into the pleasant version of a stereotypical Hipster. I still generally revert back to my Southern ways and it shows, but I keep my interests at hand.
I say, be who you want to be, yet be yourself; whoever that may be. Make your "genre" something positive, and be that person other people want to emulate because you're so confident in who you are, and basically happy! Have a wonderful week Lovelies! :)

Apologies My Lovelies!

I hope you will all forgive me for my lack of posts since I love to keep my blog updated every Monday, yet it seems as though I have neglected it for a few weeks. I didn't realize I had, necessarily, due to the amount of traveling I've been doing, which just so happened to occur EVERY MONDAY. I admit I should have written a post and scheduled it for the up coming Mondays, but I wasn't that organized, and I apologize.

SO back to the substance of the matters. I don't know what wonderful adventures have been taking place in your lives, but I'd love to hear about them! My e-mail is posted above, and I have yet to receive any e-mails from you glorious viewers! I've also been keeping away from any form of my writings lately, which I need to pick back up, so for the time being, you can send you works in to be publicly shown on my blog! (you will be credited no worries) I plan to start posting a few of my short works on here, once the New Year arrives.

Guess What?! We've reached over 120 views in a little over a month! Considering this is my first blog and the vast majority of the people I know have no knowledge of this blog, I'm uber grateful to y'all, Reddit and Tumblr members for visiting me and sharing with your friends! Please keep it going you fantastic humans.

Well I imagine that's it for now, and I will no doubt keep my duties as a Blogger a priority, even more so now. Have a fabulous week Y'all! :)
